About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst to work in the CIB Markets Finance group. In this role, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Markets organization, driving financial analysis, peer benchmarking, and executive reporting to support business performance and decision-making. More specifically, this role will provide support to a particular business within the CIB Markets FICC or Equities platform, reporting to that particular business's CFO.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professional
• Provide a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standards for a specific business unit, division, or product
• Review and analyze moderately complex data that contributes to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making for a specific business unit, division, or product
• Research key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
• Perform work on significant and unique issues involving data and evaluation or highly complex situations
• Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning in support of line of business goals
• Lead the implementation of moderately complex projects impacting one or more lines of business
• Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers in finance and in a given line of business to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Exercise independent judgment while leveraging a solid understanding of the knowledge policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within the function

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
• Visual/verbal data trend presentation preparation for management reporting
• Knowledge/understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
• Knowledge of Wells Fargo's balance sheet/product offerings
• Experience with forecasting tools Essbase/Dodeca
• Experience with disciplines such as accounting, group controllers, corporate treasury, regulatory capital, financial planning and analysis and/or product control
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
• Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, AI tools

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our 550 S. Tryon Street, Charlote NC location.
